How to accesso to the Via dell'Amore

For Visitors
Access to the Via dell'Amore can be booked by choosing a time slot (00', 15', 30', 45') for a maximum of 100 people every 15 minutes.

The maximum journey time is 30 minutes.

The entrance is from Riomaggiore (on the left coming out of the station) and, in high season, the route is one-way with an exit at Manarola.

Entrance to the Via dell'Amore can be purchased online on the Cinque Terre National Park website by choosing the Cinque Terre Card Plus type or on the website dedicated to the Via dell'Amore.

The card can also be purchased at the Cinque Terre National Park Info Points in the area, from La Spezia to Levanto, as an additional fee of €10.00 applied to each type of Cinque Terre Card already purchased. For tourists staying in accommodation facilities in the Municipality of Riomaggiore in possession of the resident tourist card (Guest Card) and staying in facilities with the CETS (as the guests of Agriturismo il Magan), the additional fee is €8.00.

Tourists resident in the CETS facilities

For tourists resident in the CETS facilities of the Cinque Terre National Park (such as IL MAGAN - Cinque Terre) the additional fee is € 8,00.

Access is allowed in both directions during the reservation time slot and with the same ticket after 5:00 p.m., on the days when the Cinque Terre card is valid.

Entitlement to access will be verified by checking the identity document and the correspondence with the name on the Cinque Terre Card.

What are the opening hours for the Via dell’Amore?
From February 15, access is regulated by reservation and payment, with the following hours:

Additional Information

Is there a one-way access rule for tourists?
Yes. To avoid queues at the Manarola ticket office, daily visitors and groups must enter one-way from Riomaggiore to Manarola. However, visitors with a
CETSorRiomaggiore Guest Cardcan access in both directions.

Is there a grace period for reservation times?
Yes, a grace period is allowed for the next available time slots, subject to availability.

Can I purchase entry only for the Via dell’Amore?
No, access to the Via dell’Amore is included in the
Cinque Terre Card, and standalone entry is not available. However, if you have already purchased aCinque Terre Card, you can buy an additional fee to access the Via dell’Amore.

How do I enter the Via dell’Amore?
Entry is from Riomaggiore, walking towards Manarola, except for specific categories with special access rights.

Can I buy only the additional fee to enter the Via dell’Amore?
